Okay, no more YA books for a while. I cannot say if my displeasure with the first half of this book (I could not finish it) stems from the author's heavy use of tropes or if I'm just worn out with the genre. After more than twenty disgusted snorts and much muttering to myself, I had to put this aside. So we will see if I ever pick it up again.
