This is actually a DNF. The beginning was amazing and the quality of the writing was exceptional. I liked Hadrian and was invested in his story. But this is just too long, too many side quests, too many scenes shown when they should have been skipped. I barely made it halfway through and couldn't bring myself to continue. I believe all the outstanding reviews, I just don't have the patience to wait to see if there is a payoff for all this.
