Nope, nope, nope. I am not going to be unfair to this author by writing the scathing review I so long to. This book was not written for me, and I understand that. So I'm not going to bag on the plot. I will simply say that the characters, the main one in particular, did not strike me as acting like real people do. I got halfway through it, as I require that of myself, and I stopped. I am so relieved to be moving on to something else.
