This was described to me as a steamy thriller, which it decidedly was not. Boring, boring, boring with a Mary Sue protagonist. The writing is not awful and to be honest I would be willing to read another work by this author because I'm willing to accept that maybe I just didn't connect with this particular protagonist. But I did not enjoy this book at all and had to force myself to finish it.
