Chicago, 1954. This is really more of a connected anthology but I really liked all the stories quite a lot. There is cosmic horror but it really takes a subtle back seat to the real horror of Jim Crow America and sundowner towns. I loved the characters, the setting and how Ruff painted a vivid picture of 1960's America.
