I loved this book!

I picked this book up after reading the Dark Tower series and it was almost a mix of the Odyssey and the Gunslinger with a child protagonist. I was longing for more Roland Deschan and this book fulfilled that longing in an unexpected way. King isn't a great writer from a prose perspective but he is one of the greatest story tellers of our time. If you like King and haven't read this, give it a try.
