The Devils by Joe Abercrombie

I read the Devils recently and I absolutely loved it. To me, its some of his best work. It kept me both laughing and on the edge of my seat but... Recently, I have been seeing a lot of negative reviews on YouTube and I cant wrap my head around it. I would love to know if you loved it or hated it. I am wondering if this is the literary equivalent of cilantro.
